Carol de Bruyn is an Australian artist who works mainly in acrylic and watercolour painting, with the occasional pencil drawing added to the mix. Ranging from realism to surrealism, the artwork always brings hope and restoration. Love is the theme running throughout her work. Without love there is no hope.

She began her art journey in 2013 and has found that to be an avenue for God to bring healing in her own life. He uses art to breathe life into dry, weary bones. There are no words needed. Just a beautiful, life transforming piece of art that speaks to the soul. When we discover our voice, our passion comes alive.

The next step in the journey and a long term dream was to create books that help children with their identity and self worth and to give them a sense of belonging. Carol’s first children’s book “You are a Masterpiece!” does just that.
